วันนี้อยากจะมาแนะนำอาชีพทางด้านดนตรีอาชีพหนึ่งที่น่าสนใจ คือ นักประพันธ์เพลงที่แต่งเพลงสำหรับภาพยนตร์เราอาจจะคุ้นเคยอาชีพนักประพันธ์เพลง แต่ไม่ค่อยมีคนพูดถึงสาขาการประพันธ์เพลงสำหรับภาพยนตร์ ลองปิดเสียงตอนที่ดูหนังนะคะ ฉากที่น่ากลัวอาจจะไม่น่ากลัวเท่าเดิม หรือฉากที่ตื่นเต้นก็อาจจะไม่ตื่นเต้นแล้ว

เมื่อเร็ว ๆ นี้มีการประกาศรางวัล Oscar ค่ะ และผู้คว้ารางวัลออสการ์สาขาดนตรีประกอบภาพยนตร์ยอดเยี่ยมประจำปี2020 คือ ฮิลเดอร์ กุดนาดอท์เทีย นักประพันธ์หญิงชาวไอซ์แลนด์ จากภาพยนตรเรื่อง Joker

ข่าวนี้ก็เป็นข่าวดังเพราะ กุดนาดอท์เทีย เป็นผู้หญิงคนที่ 4 ที่ได้รับรางวัลในรอบ 84 ปีที่มีการแจกรางวัลนี้ มีหลายข่าวที่พูดคุยถึงเรื่อง gender equality ในวงการนี้ กุดนาดอท์เทียได้กล่าวสุนทรพจน์เชิญชวนให้ผู้หญิงทุกคนกล้าที่จะก้าวขึ้นมานำเสนอผลงานของตัวเอง

“ถึงเด็กผู้หญิง ถึงผู้หญิง ถึงแม่ ๆ หรือเหล่าลูกสาวทุกคนที่ได้ยินเสียงดนตรีดังขึ้นในใจ จงก้าวออกมา เราต้องการจะได้ยินเสียงของพวกคุณ”

I’d like to introduce an interesting music career, a film composer. We may be familiar with career, a composer. We rarely talk about a film composer. If we put on mute while watching the movie, the scary scene may not be that scary. Or the exciting scene may not be exciting anymore.

Recently, there was Orcar award announcement. And the winner of the music scoring category is Hildur Guðnadóttir, an Icelandic composer from the movie, Joker.

This news is widespread as Guðnadóttir was the fourth women received this award in 84 years of this award given. Many news talked about gender equality in this community. Guðnadóttir gave a speech to invite women to step out and present their works.

“To the girls, to the women, to the mothers, to the daughters who hear the music bubbling within please, speak up. We need to hear your voices.”
